Setup SBS to take care of email for a domain that is hosted by ISP

I am new to SBS 08 and was looking to let SBS take care of email for a domain
website that is hosted by our ISP or should I let sbs exchange send the mail
to and rec. from the ISP, also should I setup SBS with that domain or a
.local domain?
