Hi,
Environment is SBS 2003 fully updated. Clients are updated XP Pro.
Problem: User documents are not redirected to
\\server_name\Users\user_name\My Documents.
Client Event Viewer reports (translated from danish to english):
The folder Documents could not be redirected. The full sourcepath was
\\server_name\Users Shared Folders\user_mane\My Documents. The full
destination path was \\server_name\Users\user_name\My Documents. At least one
of these shares are offline.
I believe the sourcepath should be something like
\\computer_name\user_name\My Documents!
To log Folder Redirection on the server, I have edited the registration db
as follows:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Diagnostics
Set: FdeployDebugLevel = Reg_DWORD 0x0f
A log file, Fdeploy.log, is created and stored in the
%windir%\debug\usermode\ folder.
But there appears no log file in the usermode folder! :-(
I would very much like some advice on how to make Folder Redirection
function again.
