I have a question. I have had a Standard Multiple Domain (UCC) SSL Up to 5
Domains and a SBS 2008 installed in a guest operating system with hyper-v on
one server. I have had this certificate for one year and the common name so
far was
remote.viennacab.at. I would also like to use this certificate on a
website at my ISP Provider here in Austria under
www.viennacab.at. Now I now
Subject Alternative Names SAN can help, but I don't know whether it would
work to make another certificate request under
viennacab.at and add
remote.viennacab.at,
www.viennacab.at as SANs and use the certificate where
remote.viennacab.at is a SAN on my Small Business Server 2008. Literature
sais to make a certificate request to remote.FQDN in order to use OWA for
example remotely, but it does not specify whether a certificate can be
installed when the common name CN is just the FQDN without the remote before
it! Can someone help?
