Hi wonderful people.

Can anyone tell me whether these operating systems will co-
exist happily? I've got the free upgrade from SBS 4.5 to
2000 and want to use it. But we don't want the
expense/hassle of new operating systems on the client PC's
(4 of 'em) - we're all happy with Win 98.

Are there any issues I should be aware of with this
scenario?

Thanks in advance.

Ted

No problem. The 98 client works just fine with SBS 2K.
You are among the very few who are happy with 98!!

Sounds like the SBS 4.5 => SBS 2000 Technology Guarantee Upgrade (offer
expired a long time ago)

From an old post...

"No-Cost Upgrade to Small Business Server 2000
Download the attached Technology Guarantee Coupon for eligibility
requirements, instructions, terms, and guidelines on this upgrade. The
Small Business Server Technology Guarantee is for customers who make a
Small Business Server 4.5 server license purchase between January 1,
2000 and March 31, 2001, including OEM server license purchases. Small
Business Server 4.5 Client Add Packs purchased along with such servers
will also be upgraded at no cost."

Technology guarantee, as stated elsewhere here. Was a
while ago and am finally getting around to implementing.
