SBS2003 basic & VPN

Howdy. Does the basic version offer the same VPN as the premium? Only used
to the premium version and have not seen a site that definitely answers
this. Thanks.

That I dont know. however Premium supplies ISA 2000, which as far as I know
is the VPN server. ISA isnt supplied with Stabndard Edition, so I cant think
of any other tools in SBS that would support VPN.

Personally I dont use ISA to do this, but rely on a dedicated Hardware
Firewall.

Hi Aaron,

FYI: the SBS 2003 newsgroup is microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs

VPN hasn't got anything to do with Standard or Premium. You run the RRAS
wizard from the To Do list and Connect to the Internet. You forward the
ports from the router to the external nic, and presto.
