Only Standard is available in action pack
Are the 20 users just accessing the second windows server or will there the be SQL on your second server

No information is currently available about the next version of SBS (whatever it may be called), but one would think it will require all new cals, just like with SBS 2003 R2

Hi Cris,

Did you know What difference for 2008 Premium User CAL Suite 20-CAL Pack
and 2008 Premium DEVICE CAL Suite 20-CAL Pack. Which one is right one.

Thank for the help

Eric:

A user cal is assigned to a user. A human being that can contact the SBS
from anywhere on the planet that he or she can get connected.

A device cal is assigned to a device, such as a computer or a mobile phone,
and as many users as are practicable can take turns using that device. Think
of shift work in a factory or call center.

You can have as many of either as you wish, up to a total of 75, and you
can mix and match. SBS 2008 does not keep track of the licenses, you must
do it to be in compliance with your agreement.

Not sure I understand the question, but if you are asking if printers work
over the network if the CALs are of the device type, my more generic answer
would be that any service that works with a user cal works with a device
cal, the limitation is as stated in my first response. Any user can use
any licensed device, but if they want to connect to the SBS from an unlicensed
device, say from a cyber cafe or their home computer (unless you provide
a license for it), they cannot legally do so.

If your question was about something else, please clarify.
