new admin account not "admin" enough???

I am a bit confused about the differences between the (now disabled)
administrator account, and the account that is created during the SBS 2008
install for the admin.

The reason being, after a new SBS 2008 install and delivery to a client, I
logged in as the new "admin". I notice everything I do requires a UAC
bypass. I cannot even create printers without doing a "run as administrator"
on the add printer wizard!

Then, I restore data from the clients old server using the NT Backup-Restore
utility.
Everything is great, except the restored folders have read only permissions
for the users, so I go to change it to full control, and I get "Access
Denied" on all the folders and subfolders! This is the new Administrator? I
can't do squat!

So, I enabled the Administrator account, and log in as administrator, and
VOILA!, I can do everything I need to do...including changing permissions on
the folders! No more UAC prompts on everything, either.

What gives? Why is my new SBS2008 "admin" account not really equal to
Administrator???
