We're currently knee deep in a migration from server 2003 standard to sbs
2008. We had to run the ADprep tools manually as we're not coming from sbs
2003. we elevated the ADUC functional level to Server 2003 but it appears we
made an oversight in that we *did not* elevate exchange 2003 to exchange 2003
native mode. as a result one the installation has completed we recieved
notice that the exchange server 2007 cannot be installed.

this also prohibits us from moving forward with the migration. is there any
way to elevate the exchange 2003 to native mode and then install exchange
2007 on the sbs 2008 server? since the SBS box already has the DC roles it
makes it a real PITA to start over from scratch. there is very sparse
documentation on migrating from standard 2003 to sbs 2008 so any input would
be appreciated.
