I have SBS 4.5 and have recently changed out modems. I had quite a few
problems with the ports and drivers, but finally got the new modem to work.
While everything is apparantly working fine, I continue to get an error
message on every re-start with the following message in the Event Viewer.
I've searched the Microsoft knowledge base with no success. ANY ideas would
be greatly appreciated!

thanks!

The ptserial service failed to start due to the following error:
No serial device was successfully initialized. The serial driver will
unload.

Not sure what ptserial is. Look in cp, devices and disable it and you will
not get the error
