I've been using VNV on client sites quite happily for a while now.
http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/index.html

I had hoped to use it via a remote RAS connection to view user desktops but
it doesn't work! If I dial in via RAS to the SBS Server I can run VNC
Viewer on my desk and access the SBS Server desktop without problem. If I
attempt to connect to a workstation on the remote network I get an
authentication failure. The mystery is that if I view the server desktop
via VNC and then attgempt to start another VNC session from the remote
server to view the workstation it fails in the same way? I can however
visit the site and run VNC on the server to view the workstation.

Has anyone experimented with this app? It's free and at 150k for the viewer
seemed an ideal tool for remote support.

I am also using VNC and I like it very much.
I have not tried using it through RAS, but I am
planning to do it at some point.

Based on what you have said, the only thing
I can think of is that perhaps your RAS connection
is configured to view only the server and not all
computers on the LAN...

I hope this helps..

Thanks but unfortunately I've already checked and the view entire network
option is selected.
