3. Copying backed up application files to Standard folder.
4. Starting AOS
5. An error message appeared, “Could not start the Dynamics
Server$01-SCL server in Local Computer Error 1053: The service did not
respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.”
6. Trying to start again
7. Stopping after around 20 minutes
8. Trying to start again.
9. An error message appeared, “Windows could not start the Dynamics
Server $01-SCL on Local Computer. For more information, review the System
Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor,
and refer to service-specific error code 110.”
10. If try again many time, the errors will appear in sequence error
1053, error 110 infinity.

I've found that when an AOS starts for the first time (or after the object
index, the .aoi file, is deleted) it takes a little while for the service to
rebuild the index. Often it will take longer than the service has patience
for. I just leave it, even after receiving the message that the service
didn't respond in a timely fashion. After about maybe 30 more seconds, the
service finishes starting. My advice is to let it go and don't try
restarting the AOS right after receiving the "timely" error.

AOS instance :
An error message appeared, “Windows could not start the Dynamics
Server $01-SCL on Local Computer. For more information, review the System
Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor,
and refer to service-specific error code 110.”
How did you fixed the problem ?

Just try synchronizing the database (Check & Synchronize) from
Administration menu.
Thanks and Regards,
Dilip
I'm facing the same problem as Guillaume. I'm using upgraded application
AX40SP1 to point to old AX40 database and start the AOS. Apparently, it gave
me event ID 110 error as well.
Dilip, I couldn't even get the AOS started what more trying to synchronize
the database from Administration menu.
Thanks,
Kenny Gan
I was wondering if anyone can help me.
I am installing Dynamics AX 4.0 sp1 on a standalone installation - however I
am getting the same issues you are getting
a) An error message appeared, “Could not start the Dynamics
Server$01-Company1 in Local Computer Error 1053: The service did not
respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.”
b. Trying to start again
c. Stopping after around 20 minutes
d. Trying to start again.
e. An error message appeared, “Windows could not start the Dynamics
Server $01-Company1 on Local Computer. For more information, review the
System
Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor,
and refer to service-specific error code 110.”
I would really appreciate if you could you guid me on how to resolve this.
The error log gives me an error "warning: setup could not conect the AOS
instance to the database because it could not add the AOS account.
Installationof the AOS instance was completed, but the AOS instance cannot
run without a connection to the databse. You might not have permission to
modify security on the database server. A database administrator can grant
permission manually, and then AOS setup will be complete. ]] Error during
setup of object server... Reason: could not find stored procedure

Can you please guide me on how to resolve this.

Yes I did installed the Database using the Installation program.
" The current error I am now getting is Event ID 7024 - The Dynamic
Server$)!- service terminated with server-specific error 100 (0x64)

Hmm, I think i have seen this error message before.
Have you tried changing the default port number on the AOS server? Also make
sure your client config matches this port number.

I have done a Standalone Installation - fileserver/Application & Database
as well as client all on one Server.
Do I still need to change the Port?

I resolved this problem by uninstalling SQL 2005 and installing SQL 2000 -
Any ideas or where am I going wrong when using SQL 2005?
Rgds
I got this same Error:
Event ID 7024 - The Dynamic Server$)!- service terminated with
server-specific error 100 (0x64)
This error was caused because the Dynamic Server Service did not have the
proper permissions in the database. The Dynamic Server Service runs under the
user: NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK
You can resolve the problem by adding "NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK" to your SQL
server and giving it the appropriate permissions on the Ax4 database.
If you attach an AX4 DB on any SQL server this user will show up under
database users but the Dynamic Server Service will still not start since the
user is not known on the SQL server itself.
