Can someone tell me, why I got this warning: "Physical remaining quantity
in
the inventory unit 'XXX' must be other than zero " ?

It's preventing one item from posting Sales Packing Slips.

Thanks
Rick

Found the problem - the conversion factor from CASE to OZ had to many
decimals thus creating a false impresion that the Physical remaining was
something other then zero.

Another cause for this error.
Check the field UnitDecimal in table Units.

We are a Dairy division and the unit of Half Gallon is a unit of sales for
us. Our coorporate requires that Half Gallon be the equivalent of 1/2 of a
gallon (cooporate is a distribution company and not manufacturing).

Normally we can only sale six Half Gallons at a time, but there was one
store that only wanted 1 Half Gallon. The field UnitDecimal was set with too
many decimals and this caused a remainder, thus the error message.

UnitDecimal for Gallons is now set to 2 and this issue went away.
