AX2009 Reports Deployment

Hi all
Just wondering if SQL Reports can be deployed from a machine other than the
report server? I currently have a development PC with the AX Client,
Debugger, Reporting Tools and .NET Business Connector installed but cannot
deploy reports from this PC. Reports do deploy correctly if done on the
Report Server
Any help would be appreciated
