In the above link, it is mentioned that Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 SP1
Connector is provided as an add-on to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 SP1. It is
delivered with Microsoft Dynamics Mobile 1.5 and it is only available in
English.

My first question is: Does this prohibit developing mobile application that
can retrieve and send data in Arabic? If yes, what are possible solutions to
enable Arabic support for mobile applications developped with Microsoft
Dynamics Mobile 1.5?

It is also mentioned in the same link that the connector is provided as an
add-on to Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0 SP2. It is delivered with Microsoft
Dynamics Mobile 1.5 and it is available in 35 languages.

My Second question is: Is Arabic Language one of the supported 35 language?
Why there is one language support for AX 2009 SP1 and 35 languages support
for AX 4.0 SP2? When support for more languages will be available?

Thanks

Hi Belal,

On AX2009 SP1 with Dynamics Mobile 1.5 it is possible to develop Arabic
applications if:
- You translate App.config and the userrole.xml files into Arabic yourself.
- An Arabic ALD file will be required for Arabic labels.

So technically it is possible but Microsoft doesn’t support it.

To get further idea, you can see the sample application installed by default
at:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics Mobile\SDK\Device\Samples\Sample
Application\Sample Application.sln

Some supporting material can be downloaded from:

All documentation:
https://mbs.microsoft.com/partnersource/solutions/mobile

Download the programs and elements:
https://mbs.microsoft.com/partnersource/downloads/releases/DynamicsMobileVersion15.htm

Hope this gives you an idea on how to proceed further.
