EU Vat 2010 update question? please help

Hi ,
We are on AX 2009 sp1(kernel/application) and would like to install EU Vat
2010 updates on the system.

Now my question is in order to install VAT 2010 updates do we need to

first apply ax 2009 sp1 hotfix rollup 3 on to our system followed by GLOBAL
update followed by local country VAT updates.,
or
can we directly apply GLOBAL update followed by local country VAT updates on
to ax2009 sp1.

I have gone through the documentation but it is not clear which path to
follow.

I ideally want to bypass the rollup 3 installation and want to directly
apply VAT 2010 update but not sure? PLease can you point me in the right
directions.

One more question: AM i right in assuming VAT 2010 fix is not covered by ax
2009 hotfix rollup 4 or 5 and is totally separate.

Hello hs,

I checked and actually it is possible to bypass the RU-3 installation,
however, it requires the installation of an additional dependency; please let
me know if you are still looking for the answer, and I shall try to find out
the details.

As for your second question, RU-5 actually does contain VAT2010 fixes.
