We are implementing AX 2009 (currently using another system, not AXAPTA) Does
anyone have access to a database reference guide for AX that shows table
relationships and table definitions? Even one for the AXAPTA database would
be helpful...

Thanks

Hi,

because of reason that the must installations of Dynamics AX has some
modification or customization on it i think you have to build such a guide
yourself.

You can see all the table definitions like fields, relations and so on when
you open the aot inside of Dynamics AX.You also have the option to create a
visio sheet to visualise theses informations.

Because not all table definitions are stored inside the database (like table
relations) you are not able to get these infromations directly form the
database and you have to take a look into the aot.

Hope this helps you.

Axel, could you tell me where I can generate a visio of the table relations
that you mention?

Best regards,

Gerry
