The Server is unavailable - for Client installation

Hi,

I have installed Axpta File server,Object server, Database server and Client
in my local system. My system has Windows XP professional SP1 version.

Now i am trying to install another system with only Client installation and
try to configure with my AOS object server.

So i installed AX Client in another windows XP professional system and i
configured AOS as server name which i have created as AOS in my system.Now if
i open AX from this client system, error is showing like, "The server is
unavailable. The client will try to connect to other servers in your
configuration".

1. Can anyone please provide the step by step process to solve this issue?
OR
2. If any other best method is there to install Client <-> Server AX
installation? I need to install Server in one system and other user
level(clients) in other systems.

Is Windows Firewall service started at your PC? If yes, did you open the AOS
port (by default 2712)?

Is user you are logging in at another PC is registered as Axapta user in DB
which is used by AOS at your PC?

Are both PC the members of the same AD domain?

Are there any errors in Event Viewer journal?
