Ways of High availability and Licencing

i ask this question cause i couldn't find a whitepaper for HA for AX2009,
just for AX4.
We need the SQL-Server high available. What is the best way and how are the
suolutions to licence?
I summarice what i found out until now:
1.) SQL Server Cluster: I need 2 Servers both with Win2008 Enterprise
Edition for the Windows Cluster. Do i need also Enterprise Edition of the
SQL-Server or can i use the Standard Ed. provided by MS when buying AX? Only
Active/Passive is supported, so i don't need a second edition of SQL Server.
Is this right?
2.) Database Mirroring: I need two Servers both with Win 2008 Standard Ed.
and i can use on both the SQL Std. Ed. provided by MS when buying AX, i don't
need another SQL Licence cause it is still Active/Passive Mode. Is this true?
