Your 'D:' drive is most likely the recovery partition installed by the OEM.
It contains the data necessary to restore your computer to factory settings
if needed.
Your operating system would be on the 'C:' partition.
Have you been doing any backups of data and saving the backups to the D
drive? This D drive should not be used for any backups. That is not what
it is intended for. If you don't have another hard drive/partition
available, then you may wish to purchase an external USB drive, or use
CD/DVDs to save backups to.

I am having the exact problem with low disk space on my D: drive actually
there is no disk space left on the D: drive. I need to know how to correct

now look at the drive that your refering to. usually disk 0...
does it seem strange in any way, such as being around 40 gigs and the rest
blocked.
if that is the case, i know whats going on(serious) and it is simple to
fix the error, but not simple to fix the exploit
