Imbedded web addresses in e-mail

Using Outlook Express, I used to be able to click on an imbedded web link
within an e-mail and go to that web site.
Now nothing happens when I click the web link. It is colored and underlined
as usual, but I don't go forward.
Can anyone tell me what to do the get the direct connection back?
