Acoustic Neuroma

26 years ago I had an operation to remove an acoustic neuroma. My facial
nerve was damaged so the surgeon operated again taking a nerve out of my
tongue and joining it to my facial nerve. Approximately 5 years ago, I began
to have an itching problem along this scar. 3 GP's, 1 neurologist and an
Ear Nose & Throat specialist all believe I have a pinched nerve in the scar
tissue but have not given me any relief. It is becoming unbearable as I
scratch and rub it so hard that I bleed. It is occurring about every 2nd or
3rd day now. Also the gland under my left ear is constantly swollen. Can
anybody help me ?
