New Zone?

Wasn't there talk of a complete Zone relaunch some time this month? I
haven't heard much more about it, and the ol' place still looks the
same...

I wish they would do something with the zone. I would like to see some new
features. For instance. I would like to exclude indivuals from game rooms.
Also, i would like to see an ignore that lasts forever. Some other nice
things would be, faster servers, a few less bugs, and maybe raising the
limits in the rooms. Hard to get into Quirinal sometimes.

Dunno if that's such a good idea. I remember the bad old days when you could
get into the game room lobbies fine but there were never any empty slots
left to host with. I remember playing 'spot the empty slot' for well over
half an hour on many a night, and then a frantic typing of the game name
followed when one eventually did come free only to find someone had typed
faster than me and beat me to it.
Qurinal is the best RoR room - it's likely it would still be full even if
they raised the limit substantially. Wouldn't more people in the gaming
lobby mean slower servers?

well, considering that 240 people isn't all that much to begin with, i think
maybe raising the limit to like 300 would be helpful. from what i've seen there
are still only 75 game rooms and a limit of 240 on the new zone though

An anti-friends list would be nice. It would be an easy way of keeping
track of players that you saw cheating. Or players that were annoying--
the ones that keep doing the taunts over and over.

I think they should automatically kick loafers out. I mean DM room 1 for
RoR is *always* at 240, and it's next to impossible to get a DM started
anywhere else. Most of the time there are more people in the lobby than in
game rooms and playing combined. I'm beginning to think that many people
just stay there when they have no intention of gaming, just to free
themselves of the hassle of trying to get into the lobby. Maybe people
could be automatically booted after a long period of time if they have gone
too long without chatting or entering a game room.

Heh heh. I just went there. It was surpirisingly empty! But there were 7
people playing ROR. They must've read you message. And I don't know what
you mean about being "banned" no microsoft personnel. I was able to get to
