Bad CD Key on a new purchase

I have purchased a new AOE in the gold edition set with the warchiefs
expansion. I can't get ESO to give me an account to play online with either
CD key. They both say "Bad CD Key" and this is a brand new game purchase.
What is the problem?

Account creation failed: [100] Bad CD key is a known issue
right now and it's being investigated on the Ensemble forums:

OMG... I found the fix... here it is..

Click Start > Run
Type Regedit
Click the folder icons in this order:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SOFTWARE
MICROSOFT
MICROSOFT GAMES
AGE OF EMPIRES 3
1.0

You will now see some information in the right window. Find the one that
says "SetupPath" and double click on it. A window will come up where you can
change the name for the path. Change the "Age of Empires III" to "Age of
Empires 3". In other words.. you only have to change the III to 3.

Now back on the left window, if you have downloaded the expansion you will
see Age of Empires 3 Expansion Pack. Click on it and then click the folder
1.0 under it and do the same thing in that file. You can now close this
window out.

Now click on

Start
My Computer
Local Disc (C:)
Program Files
Microsoft Games

Now right click on Age of Empires III and click rename. Change the III to 3
then click anwhere in the screen to save that name change. Close all windows
out and start the game and enjoy your new online account.

Also, You guys looking for someone to help with tech support? I might be
looking for a job !!
