Age of Empires Expansion: Rise of Rome- Population changing options

I'm kind of curious on the subject of options for population limit changing.
Is it possible to change the population in Rise of Rome the way that we have
to in Age of Empires, which is, of course, by editing the registry? If so,
this could be a cure for the people who are having so many problems with
changing the population limit from the Rise of Rome Multiplayer Setup
screen. Does anyone know if this is posible?

Humf, my signature seems to be outdated here. Wonder why it posted this one
over my other one... Anyone know? I just recently set a new one for the
default signature, but for some reason it's posting this one that's
outdated. Any ideas?

Havent tried this and seems likely that it would work...try it out and let
us know...or i can...what kind of problems are people having with the
multiplayer pop limit?

Not exactly sure about what kind of problems have occured, but I have seen
some posts here and in other forums about problems with the population limit
not changing, or computer freezing when they change it, and such. I have
experienced no problems myself, but if it allows others to play with a pop
of 200 then I think it's worth trying :)
