I am unable to create Fast Fire ships, only have single firing Fire Ships.
I have checked the technology chart and used Byzantines, Japanese and others
that have ability to research and produce the Fast Fire ship. Is there some
pre-requisite technology that I must research that I may be missing? Or, is
this a possible bug in the game? Running Win2K on PII 350MHz.

TIA for any tips/help.
Chad

That, plus you have to be in Imperial age to build fast fire ships,
according to the tech tree.

I have reached the Imperial age and have researched the War Galley. If I
recall correctly, I get the heated shot from the University.

Ports only allow me to build a single type of attack vessel, say a Gallion
or War Galley which ever research I have completed, never option to build
War Galley or Fast Fire ship. Enemies have sent several types of ships at
me like Galleys and Fast Fire ships at same time. This may somehow be
related to my problem.

Very confused.

Have you clicked the Red arrow to move to the second page of ships you can
create?
