Hello

After having successfully created a new object class and a
new instance of it, using adsiedit to retrieve its
properties keeps throwing the message "An invalid Active
Directory pathname was passed", after which the properties
form shows up empty (no defined attributes). Can anyone
provide any hints on what's going on and how to solve it ?

Thank you very much.

Most likely ADSI's schema cache has not been updated with the new object
class. First make sure that the schema update is complete by writing
schemaUpdateNow=1 to the RootDSE or by right clicking a connection in ADSI
Edit and selection Update Schema. Then delete the *.sch files in
%windir%\schcache. Then try to open the property page again.
