I have a file share on a windows 2003 server standard x32, no service packs
installed. Whenever I access an excel file edit it and try to save it I get
the following error. You cannot save this file it is in use by someone else,
But when I reboot the server I can then edit the same file and after a few
days it goes back to the same error. As a work around the server auto
reboots every morning and the problem doesn't exist now. But this is only a
temp fix until I can find a real fix, anyone experience this?

Please use Process Explorer (Sysinternals / Microsoft) to monitor which
process locks the file...
