activex in sharepoint not working

If you have any ideas or fixes, i'd greatly appreciate it. Here's our
situation, we're running W2K, using sharepoint, IE 6 and using DISA gold.
Before we started using DISA gold, we were able to use the "explorer view"
for shared documents on sharepoint. after installing disa gold we have to
manually create the target and then it works enough to show us the explorer
view. however once we double click on one of the folder icons, it exits the
explorer view withing the window frame and launches a separate window. Is it
a registry setting perhaps? we've been using a few profiles to test things
out, but we're still not getting anywhere. again, any suggestions, ideas,
comments will be greatly appreciated.
