I have an old database I decided to reuse that although it works ok it
displays this error message each and every time I open the program. Nor sure
what causes this and how to correct it.

member of the replica set" "Delete this replica set member and create a new
replica" click ok

The message means that the database you are using was part of a set of
databases that used replication to synchronize the data between the various
databases. The databases must be synchronized periodically within a set time
frame. Your copy has not been synchronized within that time frame.

You can import the tables from the existing database into a new database.
That should get rid of the replication and the message should stop.
