Hello !
I have designed a database for a client in Access 2000, with all tables,
forms, queries etc.
But now I have found out that he has Access97 and can't open my database
?
Can some tell me how can one use Access2000 dbs in Access97.
In the help of Access2000 it says you should use the database splitter
and make a separate front end and separate backend(which can be saved in an
Access97 compatible format). Now, is this approach right ? Can I get him to
use all the Forms/Queries/Reports etc ??
All help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Anuj

I thought that I had read that you can save an ACCESS 2000 database in MS 97
format. It would give you two seperate db's but he should be able to opn it.
I haven't tried it that way eyt. I did try opening a 97 db in 2000 and lost
a BUNCH of stuff in the process and ended up rebuilding the whole thing in
2000.
