Does the user have full read, write, modify and delete permissions on
the folder into which the database was copied? That's required!

True, Larry, but the OP said specifically
attribute for read-only can be unchecked but when
applied screen says no can do.
Not sure why that should be the case except for a folder-permissions
restriction!
