i now have xp so we all have accounts on the computer.can
i put a password on outlook so only i can open it. at the
moment the icon is at the bottom of the desk and any one
can click and open it in other accounts. al

I'd suggest asking this in a newsgroup related to Outlook.
This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's
part of Office Professional.
