I'm am looking for a good book to buy to help me become familiar with
Access 2000. I have some access knowledge but still confused about
relationships and some complex queries. I understand what
relationships are and what they mean.... one to many, many to many.
I just do not understand how to apply them.
About two months ago I went and bought Roder Jennings Special Edition
Using Microsoft Access 2000. This book was difficult to understand
and, in my opinion, to advanced. The book jumped from Northwind
database to some pet shop design. It never stayed on one subject.
The other book that I bought was Master Microsoft Access 2000
Visually. The 1050 screenshot edition. This book was good but it
just touched on some subjects. I need examples.
I am the type person who needs to do an example to understand the
point. Once I have performed the topic I can understand it better.
I have looked into buying Master Access 2000 by Simpson/Robinson and
Access 2000 Bible. But still want to wait before buying another
book. I know I need a class, but I just seem to get into one.
I will really appreciate any advice you guys can give me.
Thanks in advance.

Other good books that are more related to database design in general
are "Designing Relational Systems" by Rebecca Riordan, and "Database
Design for Mere Mortals" by Michael J. Hernandez.
