Has anyone ever tried to develop even rudimentary replication capabilities
using an Access 2.0 database?

Yes I have, and its a really long winded process, using text delimted
files, a server side vb application and an import/export process.

One word, dont bother!, convert your database to Access 95 (if you can use
95 machines) and use replication manager

Hello,
You can try to genarate unique ID in each copy of your Access 2 DB, ie puting
together an ID number of the database + an another number. When you export
datas, you just take this new ID.
