I am interested in hearing if other users have been successful in using Access replication in Access 2007 or 2010?

I am also interested in hearing if anyone has experience with Access 2003 combined with "Office 2007 except for Access" or "Office 2010 except for Access".

I built a system back in 2005 that uses replication and was built using Access 2003. It uses three server clusters, one cluster at each company physical location. Each cluster has three database replicas.

Users generally have laptops and when they are at the office and connected to the network, when they start up the application, the system automatically replicates with one of the three replicas on the server at that location. If that fails, then it automatically tries to replicate with a different replica.

There are 25-35 users of the system.

Hourly the three replicas at each server location are replicated with each other. Also hourly, one replica at each location is replicated with the main location.

this has worked extremely well and robustly for the past several years.

The client switched from their in house Exchange server to Office365 "Exchange in the cloud", installed new laptops and upgraded to "Office 2010 except for Access" combined with Access 2003.

Right now they are suffering on deficient bandwidth between the three locations where the server replicas reside and the capacity of the internet gateway.
