I dont know if its a good thing to do

But for those who got to support a product
or an apps made in access with replication,
I "found" (Its a big word) that its easy to repare
a database that receive this message when synch

-2147467259 Requested exchange failed because 'Partner member in the
replica set is not being managed'
or
replica is expired (retention time) !!
or
some other error about replica (No suitable replica ...)

What i did (And Michka can tell me if its good or not)
I asked the client to send me the Database with the problem

And
1- I did a direct synch with a replica on my Pc
2- did a synch with the server

and sent it back to the client. Since that, everything is working fine and
he didn't
saw this error, but best of all ... he didn't lose one single data !!!!!
just
a couple minute of working (Long enuff to take a pee :-))))) )
(My pc is set like the client ... i got a replica that was working
fine on my pc)

Wish that can help some people :-)))

Im using access2k, ReplMan 4.0 and Internet Synch

Richard,

How are you moving the replica around?

P.S. I think in the past other people (myself included) have created a
empty/full replica on the hub and sent that to the remote synch to synch
with. It is easy to send because it contains no data and I found it to work
well in these cases. Although I rarely have this problem because the replica
farm takes care of most of these problems.

I think David Fenton has a UI on his site that creates empty full replicas,
you might want to check it out...but I can't find the site URL at the
moment.

Andrew

This is less than ideal. An empty partial replica is a better choice for
this type of update.
