I did exactly the same like this link on my computer:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/289885/

I recognized that on my computer, it works.
The other users (including user Admin which 're not in Admin group)
don't have all the permissions.

But when I copy that db into another computer, all the permissions
activated.
So, are there any way to protect my data even when I copy the db into
another pc, not only on my pc.

Any helps will be appreciated.
Thanks a lot.

Bao Nguyen.

Sorry to tell that I'm using MS Access 2003.

Thanks again.

Hi,
have created a new system.mdw, step 2?

Make sure that you entered unique name, organization, and workgroup ID.

And all users should use this new system.mdw to open your database

After reading your reply, I tried to figure out why and I had solved
it.
It caused by the workgroup file (I used the default workgroup file
before and that's the problem).
