stopped the process

Hi,

When I open an application in access97, I get the message:

" The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process because you and
another user are
attempting to change the same data at the same time. "

I verify and that problem is in a query.
I am sure : don't exist another user witch open this application.
I work with linked tables (.dbf).

Can any one tell me about this error?

This error can show up when your database is corrupted. After making
a backup, try compacting and repairing the database. If that doesn't
work, try copying all objects into a new database container. If that
doesn't work, try the JetComp utility at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/295334.
