I need to be able to send an email from VBA code behind
an Access form, but I do not have outlook available to
automate.

There are a few ways of doing it in VB (using
winsock.dll), but none for Access that I can see.

Any help greatly appreciated

Victor

Hi Victor,

Take a look at the email pages on Tony Toews's site

I fetched the VB5 sample-code from John Rhoton and put it into a Access 97
mdb

maybe that sample (using purely WinSock.dll) will help ?

If converting Acc97 to Acc2k, don´t forget to change the two modules
mdlSuchePfad
mFileDIalogHook
to Access 2000 by changing the Compiler-Constantant to Acc 2000
