It it possible to play video files (.wmv or .avi) in a Form? I am trying to
build a training database and this feature would would really be
spectacular. If so, how?

If possible, what is the min. version of Access? I am currently using 2003
for all design work but have 2007 installed also.

It would be pretty straight forward to add a Microsoft WebBrowser control to
a form and use its Nagivate method to play videos. I used something similar
in an Access 2000 application.

Is there any prep necessary on the website?

Don't need a website! What I did was to create a webpage (.htm file) for
each video I wanted to display. The web page included an embedded windows
media player object that pointed to the video file I wanted to play. I gave
the user a way to select these Web pages and bing, bang, boom videos playing
in my Access app.

Thanks, Ro. It's been a lot of years since I have worked with things like
embedding WMP on pages but I am sure I can refresh myself.

This sounds like the way to go at this point. I tried embedding the WMP
(ActiveX tool from "More Tools" on the toolbar and it works but, the image
is either about 2" square (on my screen) or Full Screen...nothing between.
That just isn't acceptable.

The approach you used would work better than that!
