Not sure if this is the right forum, if not if someone could kindly direct
me.

I am having an issue with connecting my old computer to the internet. I am
replaceing my daughters computer that connected fine, with my old computer
that used to connected fine. Now upon replacing, not so fine. I have run
the various Wizards, nothing.

I created a new user for the computer, again running the Connection Wizards,
but it is not working.

The weird part of the problem is that I can connect with AOL, however I
cannot get any browser to connect directly.

The computer is running XP, connected through a hub (other computer on hub
connects fine).

Anyone point me in the right direction?

Gary - this group is about using the Microsoft Access database application
with the internet, NOT "accessing the internet". I suggest you try a
different newsgroup - perhaps one of the microsoft.public.windowsxp.*
newsgroups.
