I need a form to use for my query that has a start and end date range.
How can I make a form let me input the start and end date and open my form
or report?

Thanks,

Dave

You will need to set up a query with the fields you desire
in your form and report. In the date field criteria you
need to type the following, Between[Type the Beginning
Date]and[Type the Ending Date]

You can type what ever message you would like to prompt
the user between each of the [].

You will need to build the form and the report off the
query.

This is how I use date ranges in reports and forms!

Hope this helps!

David,
Do you want a form that you can enter the date range vaues
in rather than the pop up prompts from the query?

If so you should set the criteria for the date field in
your query to use the value from the form fields.

The criteria will be something like:

Between [Forms]![YourFormName]![txtStartDate] And [Forms]!
[YourFormName]![txtEndDate]

I hope this helps.
