Something is seriously wrong! The following is
recreateable.
This is a problem I have been fighting for awhile now
I create a brand new data base with one table.
I create a brand new form and add a combo box for a state
field in which I use Auto Expand. Limit to list = true
Autoexpand = true
Nothing tricky and no other controls - and it works fine.
I can enter the first letter and Auto expand works great.
I can type in the entire entry or I can select it from the
list. Works great Just as advertised. I save the form.
Go back in and the the control is still fine.
Until I close the database (I have compacts on close set
but I also tried it without) and reopen the form. Then
the combo box will NOT auto expand and you can't type a
matching entry you must select if from the list. Even
though the NOTHING else has changed.
Does anyone have any ideas whatsoever?
