Just started to use Access. Where can I find examples
of "program" files that run in Access and/or can be
compiled into an "exe" file?

Years ago, I did programing in dBase IV. Then I compiled
same with Clipper. Is it possible to convert or re-write
those programs in Access?

How does one activate or run "programs" in Access?

Thanks in advance!!

You cannot, since they do not exist. You can write a program in Visual
Basic or Visual Studio using an Access database as the data storage
medium, but Access databases cannot be compiled.

No. They will have to be rewritten; the structure and logic is quite
different.

One runs the msaccess.exe program (either retail or the royalty-free
runtime provided with Office Developer's Edition) and uses that
program to work with an Access database.
