My problem is this:
After I put the db under source control (it creates a folder MyDatabase.scc),
I then delete the original copy and make a new copy from the SCC project.
That is OK, I can update, modify, and check in, as long as I don't restart MS
Access! As soon as I restart Access, I get this error:
----
Another user (xyz) has placed this database under source code control
and is the only person who should work with it. Source code control
features will be disabled.
----
And all the database objects have blue lock icons next to them. Note that
*I* am user "xyz", in other words it's telling me that *I* have placed it
under source control! Yes, I did! How can I fix this error?
Note that I have joined a workgroup, and am logged into the db as user "xyz".
How does MS Access know what user placed the db under source control, and why
does it think there's a mismatch? I'm quite technically able, so I'm willing
to muck around with low-level files and so on, as needed. But I need to get
this working, so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
