vbp file works OK exe does not

I had a vb6 program working with access 97. We recently
upgraded to Office 2003. After some problems I got the
vb6 program working. I then converted the vbp file to an
exe file and when I run it an error pops up. The error is
from Microsoft telling me that a problem has occurred and
the program needs to close. It gives me an option to send
the report to microsoft.
I am using vb6 service pack 6, DAO. The microsoft report
says that the fault is at dao360.dll
Any suggestions
