Here's the scenario as best as I can describe:

I have a website where customers download evaluation copies of my software.

The pre-download registration is saved to an access database using frontpage
extensions / frontpage enabled website.

If/When the customer decides to purchase the software, an integrated
web-browser in my application takes them to a webpage that requests their
name, email, and company name. The webpage also (using hidden form fields)
submits their MS Product ID code and their Hard Disk Volume Serial #. All
this information is saved to yet another Access database on the webserver.

So far on all this - no problem - it all works flawlessly

Here's what I want/hope to accomplish:

1. When they submit their Activation Code request using the software's
integrated web browser, I want to parse the MS Product ID, and the HDD
Volume Serial # and generate a unique machine specific string. I'm currently
having to do this part now manually and e-mail it back to them. I think I've
figured out how to do thsi though using PHP and have the activation code
auto-generated into the database as well when they request activation.

2. Naturally, I do NOT want someone requesting activation that has NOT paid
for the software; but, I want those who request activation (upon me updating
the database - maybe a confirmed PAID field) to be able to come back and
login to my website from the same PC they requested the activation (will use
a URL variable to submit their HDD Vol Ser # as their user id) and then and
only then IF I've checked the box confirming payment received they can login
and obtain the activation code that was generated automatically and saved in
step 1. Otherwise I need to send them to another page saying status pending
or something.

3. Somehow, I hope and need and guess it would be better if I combined these
two databases mentioned above.

ANY and ALL comments and suggestions are urgently needed.

Here's the website http://68.209.19.238

You cannot get to/find the software activation code request page unless you
download the trial Agent and Recruit Manager software and then click the
Help | About menu and follow from there.

Please Help!!!!
