I moved my database to a new machine, that has Office 2003, version 10
on it, from a machine that had v11. So now I am having problems and
under References, Outlook Object Library 11 is MISSING. Of course, on
this machine, the only library available is 10. Please tell me there
is an easy fix to this? Could I simply copy over the library file from
the other computer and install it?

Thanks in advance for your help!

No, it's illegal to copy the library file.

The simplest way is to uncheck the reference that has MISSING beside it,
then scroll through the list of available references until you find the
corresponding reference on that machine.

The best way, however, is to avoid using outside references as much as
possible. In the case of Outlook, change the code to use Late Binding
instead of Early Binding, and no reference will be required. Tony Toews has
an introduction to the topic at
