Please help...

I have an Access database which I cannot open. When I try, I get error
message 3015
"<dbname> isn't an index in this table. Look in the indexes
collection of the TableDef object to determine the valid index
names."

I have downloaded jet35sp2 and run JETCOMP.EXE (after copying the new dll
files to the windows/system folder). The application attempts to compress
the database and gets about 50% through, but then comes up with the message
"Cannot open database <dbname>. It may not be a database your
application recognises, or the file may be corrupt."

I would be eternally grateful if someone can help me please - this is
urgent.

Thanks,

Peter

Try creating another empty database and then import all the objects from the
old database into the new, this should work, if you still have problems try
to find the object with the error and import everything else.
