Creating IF Statement in Access Query

HELP!!! I am trying to create a query in access that need an If statement to
generate a report that lists students grades by there ages (e.g. if student
age is 5 then grade is K, if student age is 6 then grade is 1, etc...) but I
only find IIF expression under query expression builder and with the way
this statement is written I don't know if it's even the right statement to
use to write my statement or do I need to write this in VBA or SQL. If so I
would appreciate any help from anybody to tell me how to do this in SQL or
VBA.
